Things to do
Popular options include beachcombing, fishing, swimming, and playing in the sand. The Oregon Coast Visitors Association says the campground is also a great spot for whale watching, especially during the migration season. Cape Perpetua, a short distance south, provides stunning coastal views, tide pools, and hiking trails.
Beach Access
- We offer a private beach access with a short walk out of your room to the sandy beach 365 days a year
- Hunt for agates and fossils in the rocky tide pools, while getting a glimpse out our local wild life. See hermit crabs, star fish, baby rock fish, and more
- Harvest your own dinner of clams, mussels, or crab. License required.
- At night, enjoy smore’s and a fire while watching the falling stars on the beach just steps from your room. A childs's favorite!
- Fishing: Try your luck fishing in the ocean or nearby areas.
- Hiking: Explore the Oregon Coast Trail or the Cape Perpetua Trail for scenic hikes.
- Wildlife Viewing: Look for whales during migration season (especially in winter) and enjoy observing the local wildlife.
- Campfire & Stargazing: Relax around a campfire at the campground and enjoy the night sky.
